Adesse

Adesse is an ultra-minimalist watch that acts as a memento to enjoy the present. The minimalist approach to becoming 'present' is to remove the unnecessary. Adesse reimagines the traditional analog watch with minimalist principles, and questions what is absolutely necessary to tell the time. Do you really need to see the numerical indicators? The minute hand? The hour hand? Designed through subtraction, traditional watch features are removed. A sculptural piece is carved out of the watch face. The face rotates, covering and deliberately revealing just enough to tell the time.

The No 2

The No. 2 is a pair of sunglasses designed for durability and comfort. The frame is made from 0.5 mm ultra-thin Japanese shape-memory stainless steel, shaped by bending and folding without welding joints or screws. A patent-pending zero-screw locking hinge replaces traditional screws and barrel hinges, so hinges cannot loosen and screws cannot fall out. The frame weighs 18 grams. Polycarbonate lenses are impact-resistant and block ultraviolet light. Medical-grade silicone nose pads and temple tips are hypoallergenic.

Artika Horizon

Artika Horizon is a wristwatch that can also be carried in a pocket or worn around the neck. A cord on the strap replaces conventional strap parts, giving the watch a simple and reliable construction. The strap is closed with a special clip, and the clip turns the watch into a pendant that can be hung around the neck or tied to clothing. The case is made of metal and measures 43 mm in diameter and 9 mm in depth. Production is planned through additive manufacturing or CNC milling. The form was inspired by a black hole and its event horizon, and the cord symbolizes space bending around time.

Crosscut Cabouchon

Crosscut Cabouchon is a jewellery collection of brooches, rings and earrings. Ethically mined opals from Australia are held within boldly coloured settings. Corian from interior offcuts is carved by hand, and aluminium recycled from laptop cases is anodised to add colour. Gold and silver recycled from estate jewellery are fabricated with traditional goldsmith skills. Controlled heat allows the gems to be set directly into the Corian without adhesive. The collection invites wearers to see classic gemstones in a different light.

Astronomer

Astronomer is a mechanical wristwatch with a panoramic moon phase display. The moon phase dial is enlarged to 28 millimeters in diameter and fills the entire dial plate, so the waxing and waning of the moon can be observed clearly. The dark blue dial is overlaid with silver and adorned with stars. The surface of the moon is reproduced with 3D printing technology. An infinitely adjustable clasp fits most wrists without holes in the strap, which simplifies manufacturing and saves materials. The strap can also be removed and replaced without tools.

Nu

Nu is a wristwatch with a water-filled dial. The dial holds water collected from some of the world's most polluted water sources, sterilized by ultraviolet light. Clear acrylic hands are submerged in the water and remain almost invisible. Touching the steel case activates a light-emitting diode that illuminates the hands to show the time. The case is topped with domed sapphire glass, and the strap is made of cactus leather. The form follows the contour of a dew drop resting on a leaf. The blue colour refers to the pristine ocean.
