Australian Crystal Opal, with its vibrant play of color, presents challenges due to its softness and translucency. These were overcome using custom crafted settings and a blackened gold backing, ensuring enhanced fiery hues and durability when paired with 14K white and yellow gold.

Ferris wheel

Ferris Wheel is a transformable jewelry set that works as both a necklace and a pair of earrings. The pendant takes the shape of a small Ferris wheel with modular cabins that rotate around a central axis when turned by hand. The interiors of the cabins are filled with cold enamel in several colors. Gears at the base loosen the screws of a bolt and nut mechanism, so the cabins and the wire can be detached and worn as earrings. The form is inspired by memory and the cyclical nature of life. Gentle spinning is intended to create a calming effect.
