Shade Me If You Can

"Shade me if you can" are a handmade Sunglasses, inspired by the eye brow line and the two eye sockets, and designed to express them in slight exaggeration. The eyebrow line was creatively translated into the glasses in the form of a wooden visor functioning as the bridge, with two free floating monocles that are hinged into the hand carved walnut. The design represents the dialogue with human anatomy, form and ergonomics. It integrate different techniques and materials, all creating contemporary and fashion forward piece of wearable art.

Cycles

Cycles, 925 carat silver square ring, is designed with five movable plates connected to the center. Inspired by the talismans of West Africa, the plates symbolize the fingers, and the main body represents the palm. The designer brings together the idea of constant transformation and change, through infinite cycles and motion. The ring's surface reflects feminine light, and its geometric form represents strength. Cycles is a contemporary expression of rooted traditions and a way of taking them into the future.

V, inspired by daily life. researched how to remove discomfort of glasses. real butterfly wings on its body. main structure is teeth hair clip. legs with a magnetic tip can be detached. after removing legs, it can be used as hair clip, bow tie, ornament or clipping objects like a cup. cause V is not so different, it has similar production process as ordinary acetate glasses.

Garuda Collection

Garuda Collection was inspired by a national symbol of Indonesia, a mythical bird with eagle-like features that appears in both Hinduism and Buddhism mythology. Made of 18 carats of gold with 8 feathers on the wing, 17 black stones on the head and another 45 on the wing, this ancient deity represents the date Indonesia proclaimed its independence: 17 August '45.

Most of the times in floral jewelry designs thorns are ignored because they are sharp or pointy. But in "Thorny Tulip" collection, thorns are the most important visual elements and get the most focus. So instead of making the thorns too dull, thorns has been placed carefully along the stem in an arrangement that keep them out from irritating the skin. As a result it creates a bold and beautiful contrast seeing pointy golden thorns side by side the delicateness of human body skin.
