Wave Watch

The goal was to have a mechanical watch that can be read both from front view and side view. The idea behind the design of the Wave watch rises from the need aforementioned. In order to achieve this goal, different forms were examined. Ziggurats (ancient temples) and waves are two suitable examples that could be used to model the idea. Bird nest

Bird nest jewelry is consisted of a golden ring and a golden pendant with a pearl in the middle of them. Bird's nest is an inspiration for that. But the similarity is not just in the form, it is also in the concept. Jewelry is a valuable object for the owner, as a chick is important for its mother. The pearl that is used in the jewelry is a metaphor of the bird's egg. These tow decorative objects have a message: Preserve the environment like birds and their eggs. This inovartive artwork can have a positive influance on people to protect the environment more and more.

Contrast

One part of the design represents a person's thoughts and ambitions, distilled down into a single, angular piece of topaz, while the skyscraper-like "rays" jutting outward represent the multiple facets a person takes on living in modern society. As the name of the project suggests, there are many different techniques applied to the different skyscraper "rays." Different rays have been sandblasted and polished, and other rays have inlaid gems to provide unique contrasts in the design.
