Cycles

Cycles, 925 carat silver square ring, is designed with five movable plates connected to the center. Inspired by the talismans of West Africa, the plates symbolize the fingers, and the main body represents the palm. The designer brings together the idea of constant transformation and change, through infinite cycles and motion. The ring's surface reflects feminine light, and its geometric form represents strength. Cycles is a contemporary expression of rooted traditions and a way of taking them into the future.

Moonlight bracelet

The goal with this project was to achieve harmony between two different materials: brass and Glass. Rather than the rare or expensive materials often used to create fine jewelry, these elements are more commonplace materials in the modern world. Therefore this work relies on design and the harmony between these materials to create pieces that exist between the definitions of fine and fashion jewelry.

odyssey

The basic idea involves covering voluminous, geometric shapes with a patterned skin. From this there evolves an interplay of clarity and distortion, transparency and concealment. All geometric shapes and patterns can be combined at will, varied and complemented with additions. This fascinating, simple idea allows for the creation of an almost inexhaustible range of designs, perfectly consonant with the opportunities offered by rapid prototyping, as each customer can have an entirely individual and unique item produced (visit: www.monomer.eu).
